Chef Marino Sánchez's story is one of grit, passion, and an unwavering love for Mexican cuisine.
It began humbly at the Zoetry Casa del Mar hotel, where Marino started as a dishwasher. Within his first year, he requested a chef's apprenticeship — and the rest, as they say, is history.
After two years of dedicated apprenticeship, Marino was hired as the Food Preparation Manager at Campo de Golf Diamante, overseeing all restaurants and bars at the resort for four years. His talent for coaxing bold, authentic flavor from every ingredient quickly became his signature.
Today, Chef Marino channels eight-plus years of experience providing private banquet and catering services to exclusive villas throughout Hawaii. Arturo's is the culmination of that journey — a place where the soul of Mexico meets the warmth of the islands.
He enjoys every challenge and takes full advantage of every opportunity given to him. His mission: to show the world just how extraordinary Mexican food can be.
